BOZEMAN, Mont. – Nevada women's ski completes first run of the giant slalom event prior to the men's race being canceled due to snowy conditions and below freezing temperatures on day one of the Montana State Invitational Tuesday morning.
Sixtine Piccard,
Elle Murphy, and
Georgie Sullivan finished their first runs in 36
th, 37
th, and 38
th place, while
Tiia Nurminen finished 42
nd. The second run was scheduled to begin at 11:45 a.m. PST, but due to weather, the run was canceled.
The men's race, that was supposed to begin at 10:00 a.m., was also canceled due to the weather.
Day two of competition is currently scheduled for Wednesday, beginning at 9:00 a.m. PST with the giant slalom events if weather conditions permit competition.
