RENO, Nev. -Â Nevada Women's Track & Field seven-time All-American
Nicola Ader will compete at July 9-10's Thorpe Cup in Dallas as part of Team Germany. Competition will be held at St. Mark's School of Texas.
The Thorpe Cup is an international track and field competition between the United States and Germany. Teams are composed of up to seven men and seven women who compete in the decathlon and heptathlon. The top five men's and top three women's scores are added together to determine the overall men's and women's team winners.
Ader, an Affolterbach native, finished ninth in the heptathlon and earned second-team All-America honors at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships last month. She will begin competition at the Thorpe Cup Saturday, with the 100 Meter Hurdles set for 8 a.m. PT. A full schedule of events is below.
