STOCKTON, Calif. – No. 32 Nevada men's golf team opens play as the sixth seed in the Stockton Regional on Monday at Reserve Spanos Park in Stockton, Calif. The Pack is set to compete in its fourth straight NCAA Regional.

The Pack is competing in its fourth straight regional dating back to the 2017-2018 season. Nevada finished ninth in 2018 and has finished as high as seventh on two different occasions in an NCAA Regional. The Wolf Pack has advanced past the regionals and into the NCAA Championships three times (1988-89: 25th, 1989-90: 28th, 2005-06: 28th).

Nevada will send a team of five golfers to compete in the Stockton Regional with the quintet of Quim Vidal Mora, Peyton Callens, A.J. Lintunen, Trey Davis, and Michael Sarro making up the team entry.

The Pack is ranked 32nd following the conclusion of the season. The team is looking for its first regional team victory and the last time a Wolf Pack golfer won an NCAA Regional was when Casey Watabu won as an individual in 2005-06.

"Every regional is difficult, but Stockton is ideal for us," said Head Coach Jacob Wilner. 'We've played it before, and I believe we have the opportunity to advance if we perform to our abilities. It's the best possible scenario for our team."

Three Nevada men's golfers posted program bests this season with Quim Vidal Mora shooting the lowest average score in program history (70.00), A.J. Lintunen shot the fourth-lowest average score (71.55), and Peyton Callens (71.55) recorded the fifth-lowest score in the history of the program.

Nevada's season was highlighted by a team victory at the Husky Invitational on Sep. 21. The Pack rallied from 17 shots down to clinch its first victory since 2019. As well as individual wins by Vidal Mora (Saint Mary's Invitational) and Callens (The Goodwin). The Pack finished in the top-five 10 times out of 11 tournaments this season, including a third-place finish at the Mountain West Championship.

The Reserve at Spanos Park is a renowned links-style golf course designed by Andy Raugust and rated 4.5 stars in Golf Digest's "Places to Play." The course, featuring ryegrass fairways, opened in 1999. Originally 7,132 yards from the Championship tees, the course is completing a reconfiguring of the championship tees which will lengthen the yardage to nearly 7,300 yards.

Participating teams and Individuals will play a 54-hole format, including three (3) rounds of 18 holes. On all three days of the competition, the first tee time will be at 7:30 a.m. with all groups teeing off on hole 1.
