FRESNO, Calif. – The Nevada women's golf team looks to continue its strong play during the spring in the Fresno State Classic on Monday and Tuesday at Belmont Country Club in Fresno, Calif.
The Pack has finished in the top 10 in its last three tournaments with a high mark of 2
nd at The Show at Spanish Trail on Feb. 14. Nevada has two tournaments left to play prior to the Mountain West Championships Apr. 18.
Nevada has won the Fresno State Classic once in 2017 with a score of 891. The Pack recorded a 290 in the third round, which was the 10th-lowest all-time single best round score heading into the season.
Nevada will compete among a 15-team field at the Fresno State Classic, including host Fresno State, along with Boise State, Cal, Cal Poly, CSU Fullerton, Hawai'i, Long Beach State, Sacramento State, San Francisco, Santa Clara, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, and Washington State.
The Wolf Pack will send eight golfers to compete in the Fresno State Classic Monday and Tuesday, with the quintet of

Leah John,
Anitra Khoth,
Kaitlin Fleiner, and
Maddy Zunino making up the team entry.
Kayla Nocum,
Raesa Sheikh, and
Kathleen Keomahavong will compete as individuals.
The Fresno State Classic is a 54-hole tournament that will play two rounds on day one and one round on day two. Action gets underway at the Belmont Country Club with a shotgun start on Monday and Tuesday at 8:15 a.m.
