PALM DESERT, Calif. – Following a four-month break in play, Nevada men's golf is back in action at the Desert Intercollegiate hosted by Wyoming at the Classic Club in Palm Desert, Calif.
Nevada is rested and ready to go as it begins the spring portion of its schedule to continue building toward the Mountain West Championships on May 16-18. The Pack was last in action on Nov. 10, with a 4
th-place finish in the Saint Mary's Invitational that featured
Quim Vidal Mora winning his first-career individual championship after shooting 11-under. The Pack finished fourth as a team with a score of seven-under.
Joining Nevada in the Wyoming Desert Classic will be a large field of 20 teams and 14 individuals including hosts Wyoming, along with Washington, Northern Colorado, Colorado, CSU Northridge, UC Riverside, UC Irvine, Boise State, Long Beach State, Oral Roberts, Texas State, Seattle U, Charlotte, UTSA, New Mexico State, Dixie State, CSU-Fullerton, UC Santa Barbara, and Southern Utah.
"We arrived in the desert a bit early to get some practice in," said Head Coach
Jacob Wilner. "Our guys are ready to get back into tournament action. We are excited about competing in back-to-back events"
Nevada announces the following five players in the team entry.

All teams will play one 18-hole round each on Wednesday, March 2, Thursday, March 3, and Friday, March 4.

The Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate marks the first of five spring events leading up to the Mountain West Championships. The MW Championships will take place from Apr. 29 to May 1 at the Gold Mountain Golf Course in Bremerton, Wash.
