RENO, Nev. - Nevada Sports Net is officially scheduled to broadcast nine of the Wolf Pack's contests throughout the 2022-23 season beginning with the season opener this Monday against Utah Tech.
Nevada's first three games of the season will be broadcast on NSN, including the Utah Tech game as well as contests with Grand Canyon on Nov. 12 and William Jessup on Nov. 15. Six of the games on the broadcast slate are non-conference contests and three will be Mountain West matchups. Each of the games also will be available to stream for free at NevadaSportsNet.com/watch.
"We are dedicated to delivering high-quality live local games to our viewers and are committed to bringing Wolf Pack fans exclusive action on their televisions, phones and tablets," NSN's director of operations, Anthony Resnick, said. "We are excited for the start of the Nevada men's basketball season as that program's fan base has unmatched passion in Northern Nevada."
The Wolf Pack's home games against Utah Tech, Grand Canyon, William Jessup, Sam Houston, UC San Diego, and Norfolk State will all be simulcast on NSN and feature the radio call of Nevada play-by-play broadcaster John Ramey and color commentator Len Stevens, the Wolf Pack's head coach from 1987-93.
Nevada's home conference games against Boise State, San Jose State and UNLV will be full NSN productions and include a 30-minute pre-game show. Alex Margulies will be on play-by-play for those contests. Game times also have been set for each of the matchups that will air on NSN. Every game will tip off at 7 p.m. with the exception of the Grand Canyon (1 p.m.), Norfolk State (2 p.m.) and UNLV (2 p.m.) contests.
