RENO, Nev. - After a 73-63 victory over Liberty on Saturday evening, the Pack is hitting the road to Auburn, Ala., for the Quarterfinals of the National Invitation Tournament on Wednesday, March 25.
Tip-off is set for 6:05 p.m. PT, and the Pack fans can watch the contest on ESPN 2 with Dave Neal (play-by-play) and King McClure (analyst) on the call.
The radio broadcast can be heard on 95.5 KNEV in Reno and through the Varsity Network App, featuring John Ramey (play-by-play).
UP NEXT
With a win, Nevada will face either Illinois St./Dayton on April 2 in the semifinals of the NIT at the Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
LAST TIME OUT
Nevada secured a 73-63 victory over Liberty on Saturday evening at Lawlor Events Center, advancing to the quarterfinals of the National Invitation Tournament.
With a win, the Wolf Pack improves to 17-2 at home this season, tying the 2005-06 team for the most home wins in program history.
Corey Camper Jr. scored 10 points, 10 assists, and 13 rebounds to secure the first triple-double by a Nevada player since Kenan Blackshear in 2022.
Elijah Price led the Pack offensively with a double-double, totaling 15 points and 10 rebounds. Price was joined in double figures by
Vaughn Weems (10),
Tayshawn Comer (10), and
Joel Armotrading (10).
As a team, the Pack scored 46 percent from the field, 24 percent from three, and 95 percent from the foul line. While holding the Flames to 40.4 percent shooting from the field, 23 percent from beyond the arc, and 75 percent from the line.
Nevada's bench provided a key spark, outscoring Liberty's reserves 21-3. The Pack also dominated in second-chance points (16-3) and fast-break points (8-4).
SCOUTING AUBURN
The Flames are coming off a 91-85 NIT Second Round win against Seattle U on Sunday evening.
Auburn placed four players in double figures, led by Kevin Overton's 23 points. Elyhah Freeman followed with 19, while Sebastian Williams-Adams added 15 and Filip Jovic chipped in 12.
Keyshawn Hall protected the glass with 15 rebounds while setting the tone for the offense with five assists.
PACK vs TIGERS FIRST MATCHUP
This will mark the first-ever meeting between the Nevada Wolf Pack and the Auburn Tigers.
Tigers finished with a 7-11 record in Southeastern Conference play. After beating Seattle U, the Tigers have a 19-16 record in the season.
Auburn will be the first SEC team Nevada has faced since 2019, when the Pack faced Florida in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament.

After an incredible overall performance in the game against Liberty,
Corey Camper Jr. joined the Nevada triple-double club.
Camper Jr. recorded 10 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists in the Second Round of the NIT game against Liberty on March 21 at Lawlor Events Center.
