RENO, Nev. - Trey Davis posted a top-five finish at the Wolf Pack Classic Tuesday, coming in tied for fifth to pace Nevada Men's Golf.

Davis (70-66-72=208) shot even par Tuesday to finish the tournament at eight-under, and at one point early on in his round was just one stroke off the top of the leaderboard. But a bogey at No. 10 and a double-bogey at No. 11 set him back, before he rebounded with three birdies over his final nine holes.

As a team, Nevada came in tied for eighth, finishing the event eight-under (286-280-290=856). Peyton Callens turned in Tuesday's low round for the Pack, coming in a one-under 71, and finishing the tournament at -2 (69-74-71=214). Keita Okada finished even par (72-71-73=216) to be the third member of the Pack to finish the event par or better.

Rounding out the Pack lineup were Connor Motherway (75-72-74=221, +5) and Tom Patterson (76-71-76=223, +9).

Michael Sarro and Adam Thorp competed as individuals, with Sarro coming in at +11 (80-72-75=227) and Thorp at +19 (78-77-80=235).

New Mexico swept the team and individual titles for the second straight season, with Bastien Amat topping the leaderboard at -14.

Nevada closes its fall slate at the Saint Mary's Invitational, Oct. 31-Nov. 2, at Pebble Beach.
