NEVADA
SENIOR (2022-23) -- Came in T-36 at the USF Invitational at +9 (73-72-77=222) as the Pack finished sixth at the event (Sept. 18-20) ... Finished at +5 (75-72-74=221) at the Wolf Pack Classic (Oct. 10-11) … Shot +10 at the Lamkin San Diego Classic to finish T63 (74-79-73=226). 

JUNIOR (2021-22) -- Season stats -- Competed in four events for 12 rounds... Shot a season-low 69 in the third round of the Gene Miranda Invite as an individual... Posted his career-best finish (-4, 3rd) at the Gene Miranda Invite on Sep. 10-12... Made 30 birdies, no eagles, and 76 pars... Recorded an average score of 74.67 which was the second-lowest of his career (1st; 74.25, 2019-20). 

SOPHOMORE (2020-21) -- Participated in one event during his sophomore season, tying for 46^th at the El Macero Classic … Averaged 74.0 strokes per round at his one event, with a low round of 68 … Totaled 10 birdies and 30 pars at his lone event.

FRESHMAN (2019-20 - Season shortened due to COVID-19) -- Competed in three events during his rookie season with the Wolf Pack … Posted a scoring average of 74.25 for the year … Totaled 19 birdies and 59 pars … Recorded a season-best finish of a tie for fourth at the Wolf Pack Shootout where he also shot a season-low round of 65 in the final round … Played the year at 18-over par but finished the Wolf Pack Shootout at 1-under for the tournament … Letter winner … Academic All-Mountain West selection and was named a MW Schoalr-Athlete.

HIGH SCHOOL -- Local product out of Galena High School … Two-time Northern Nevada High School Player of the Year … Earned two Northern Nevada Regional Championships … Won the 2019 Northern Nevada Amateur … Three-time all-state honoree … Captured the title at the Junior Tour of Northern California Fall Series I in August of 2018.

PERSONAL -- Son of Chelli and Ryan Motherway … Has one younger sister, Elle … His father and his uncle Tom Motherway, both played college football at UCLA … His uncle Matt Motherway played college football at Stanford, his late uncle Michael Motherway played college football at Princeton, and his cousin Billy Motherway played water polo at Princeton … Business major … Chose Nevada because it’s a great opportunity being local and he’s loved the Reno area since moving to the area when he was seven years old … Also recruited by Pacific, Boise State and Chico State … Lists Tiger Woods as his sports hero … Most memorable pre-college moment was winning high school regionals his freshman year … Enjoys hanging out with friends, playing basketball and spending time with his dogs in his free time.
