RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The Nevada softball team (19-15, 11-7) fell to California Baptist (20-28-1), 3-1, in game three on Saturday afternoon. Nevada shut out California Baptist in game one, 2-0, before claiming a 9-5 victory to close Friday night.
Junior Jessica Sellers paced Nevada offensively, going 1-for-2 with a walk. Seniors Haley Burda and Sadaria McAlister each chipped in with a hit. A CBU error on Charli Hawkins' ground ball scored Nevada's lone run in the third. Junior Julia Jensen (2-3) recorded the loss for the Pack. Jensen gave up five hits and three runs in two innings. Sophomore Kendall Fritz gave up one hit and zero runs after entering the game in the second.

Nevada hosts rival UNLV for a three-game series on May 8-9. Nevada will celebrate Senior Day on May 9.
