RENO, Nev. — Madison Clark has been named the Mountain West Player of the Week after delivering a dominant four‑game stretch in which she hit .769 and powered the Wolf Pack to a 3–1 record.
Clark reached base in 14 of her 16 plate appearances and produced 18 total bases.
Clark opened the week with a statement performance at Utah Valley on March 23, going 3-for-4 with a triple and a home run, driving in three runs and scoring three more. She posted a 2.000 slugging percentage with eight total bases in that game.
She carried that momentum into the San José State series, recording three straight multi-hit games. Clark went 3-for-4 with two runs scored in the opener on Friday, followed by a 2-for-2 day with a double on Saturday. She closed the weekend with another two-hit outing on Sunday, adding a triple and three RBIs.
Across the four games, Clark totaled 10 hits in 13 at‑bats, including one double, two triples, and a home run, finishing with a 1.385 slugging percentage. She also scored eight runs and drove in seven, all while going a perfect 2-for-2 on stolen bases.
Defensively, Clark was flawless at second base, recording eight putouts and three assists with zero errors.
