THIS WEEK FOR THE WOLF PACK
WHAT'S NEXT: After dropping a road match at Utah State and a home match with UNLV, the Nevada volleyball team wraps up the truncated 2020-21 season on Thursday against Fresno State at the Virginia Street Gym at 6 p.m.
Prior to the state of the match the Wolf Pack will honor three seniors who are in their final season with the program –
Gabby Roberts,
Kassie McGill and
Brianna Souza.
FOLLOW THE ACTION: This week's matches will be live-streamed and live scoring will also be available. Please see the links above.
LAST TIME OUT: A short-handed Nevada squad fell to UNLV 3-0 at the VSG.
ABBREVIATED SCHEDULE FORMAT: As a result of the pandemic, the Mountain West Conference has moved to a conference only 16-match schedule this spring. The format has teams playing the same opponent twice during the first six weeks, then playing the remaining four MW schools once each in the final three weeks ending April 3. The regular season champion will be the Mountain West's automatic qualifier to the NCAA Tournament.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS: Fresno State is 7-6 overall and coming off a 3-1 win over New Mexico the last time out.
THE SERIES: Nevada is 24-24 all-time against the Bulldogs. The Pack has dropped the last three meetings, with Nevada's last win coming in 2017.
