Redshirt Junior (2019): Made her debut against CSU Bakersfield and went on to become an influential offensive and defensive asset to the team, playing in all 30 matches… Tallied a total of 304 points in her 108 sets on the court for an average of 2.81 per set… Placed second on the leader board for kills… Placed third on the leader board for blocks… Recorded 243 kills and 91 blocks on the year… Had a season-high of 20 points against Utah State… Also had a season-high of 18 kills against Utah State… Was named to the All-Mountain West Academic team… Letter winner.

Junior (2018): Did not play, redshirted.

Prior to Nevada
At Butte College, Souza earned an associates degree in social science, and won the Golden Valley Conference Championship her freshman year … Named All-Conference, All-Northern California, and team MVP in both seasons … Named  All-State and All-American in her sophomore season.
 
Personal
In high school, she ran track and played basketball in addition to volleyball … She was also recruited by Santa Clara, CSU Fullerton, and Grand Canyon University … Her father played professional baseball with the New York Mets.
