RENO, Nev. - Nevada volleyball standout
Haylee Brown has been recognized by the Mountain West Conference with Honorable Mention honors following an impressive junior season with the Wolf Pack.
Brown made an immediate impact in her first season with Nevada after transferring from George Washington. She ended the season with 351 kills, 36 blocks and 373 points, leading the Pack in kills by 165.
The 6'2 outside hitter ended the regular season fifth in the conference in kills with 229, averaging 3.63 per set during conference play.Â
Brown recorded double-digit kills in 21 of Nevada's 28 matches this season, including seven straight matches in October.Â
She also set a career-high 21 kills in a five-set victory over Wyoming on October 16.
Brown's consistency on the court earned her name on the list of postseason honorees.Â
