RENO, Nev. – The Nevada soccer team has announced five exhibitions it will compete in this spring, with three at home in Mackay Stadium.
The Wolf Pack will host Pacific, Sacramento State and Stanislaus State within a span of three weeks in March and April. Nevada will face the Tigers on March 28 at 1 p.m., the Hornets on April 11 at 1 p.m. and the Warriors April 18 at 2 p.m. All matches will be free and open to the public.
Following its first three spring matches being at home, the Pack will travel up the road to Truckee Meadows Community College on April 25. Nevada will conclude its spring season at UC Davis on Saturday, May 2 with its fifth and final exhibition.
The Pack has produced Mountain West All-Newcomers in back to back seasons, as
Kendal Stovall and Kylie Minamishin were honored in 2018 and
Gabby Brown, who set the Nevada single-season shot record, in 2019. Stovall is currently ranked fourth in Nevada history with 216 saves in her career.
The Pack has shown improvement under head coach
Erin Otagaki in each of the last three seasons, winning three conference games in 2019 which is the most under her tenure. This spring will be the first time fans can witness what is in store for the 2020 season next fall.
