RENO, Nev. – University of Nevada track & field hurdler Karoline Sauer captured gold at the German U23 Championships in the 400-meter hurdles.  Sauer will be a senior next season for the Wolf Pack.

 
Competing in her home country in Germany she ran 58.94 in the 400-meter hurdles to place first.  Sauer is a two-time Mountain West 400-meter hurdle champion which earned her All-MW honors each of the past two seasons.
