Spend your day on campus with the Wolf Pack!

RENO, Nev. — The annual Silver and Blue Spring Game is set for Saturday (April 27) and is free and open to the public!

The Nevada football team's 15-practice spring session culminates this Saturday at Mackay Stadium with the spring game, which is free and open to the public, and scheduled to kick-off at 1 p.m. At 10:30 that morning, the new Grit Run will take place with a 5K run/walk course that will take runners through the University campus and back to Mackay Stadium. All participants will receive a t-shirt and post-race refreshments, with on-course hydration stations.

The cost for the race is $35 for adults and $15 for children 12 and younger, with all proceeds donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Registration is available now at NevadaWolfPack.com/GritRun. Note: Pre-registration by the end of the day on Friday, April 26, is required in order to receive the t-shirt.

The fan-friendly event, which is presented by Scheels, includes bounce houses and face-painting for children, autographs after the game and complete gameday entertainment, including the Wolf Pack marching band, Nevada spirit squads and more! There will also be a youth football experience after the game as kids can hit the field and go through drills with the Wolf Pack players and coaches. Silver and Blue Outfitters will be on hand with a full selection of Wolf Pack gear.

Fans are encouraged to park near the north side of Mackay Stadium for the spring game events as only entrance to the stadium will be the Jensen Plaza gates. Note: The University's Clear Bag Policy is in effect for the spring game.

The game will begin at 1 p.m. and the planned format is for the Wolf Pack's first string to take on the rest of the team.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN Radio 94.5 FM with Alex Margulies and Mike Edwards on the call!

This is the third spring game under Norvell, who guided the Wolf Pack to one of the best turnarounds in the nation last season, and one of the best seasons in recent Nevada history. The Wolf Pack rolled to an eight-win season and capped it with a thrilling overtime victory in the NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl, just the sixth bowl victory in school history.
