RENO, Nev. – The University of Nevada (10-10, 1-3 MW) women's tennis team will play Colorado State (10-9, 2-4 MW) at the Aztec Tennis Center on Wednesday at 1 p.m. on the first day of the Mountain West Championship. San Diego State is the host school for the event. The Wolf Pack is the 11
th seed and the Rams sixth. The winner will face the either No. 7 Utah State or No. 10 Boise State at 2 p.m. on Thursday.
UNLV is the top seed, followed by Air Force, San Diego State, New Mexico, Colorado State, Utah State, SJSU, Fresno State, Boise State and Nevada.

Selina Turulja (9-5) leads the team with nine singles wins in the spring with six of those victories coming on court 5. Roos Van reek (8-6) is second on the squad with eight wins with four of those at No. 4 singles and three at No. 3 singles.
Maria Tatarnikova (7-7) and
Adriana Gergelyova (7-8) each have seven wins. Tatarnikova earned four of those victories on court 6. Gergelyova has played primarily No. 1 singles. She has three wins on court three and a combined four at the top two spots in the lineup.
Anastaysha Gorbacheva is 6-3 in the spring with four wins at No. 6 singles.
Tatarnikova and Turuljia are 12-6 in doubles play with 11 of those victories coming on court 3. Gergelyova and Van reek have played mostly at No. 2 doubles going 11-4 and have one win on court 1 for a combined record of 11-4. Gorbacheva and
Marta Ruedas have seen the most time at No. 1 doubles posting a 6-5 record. Head coach
Guillaume Tonelli has used nine different doubles combinations in the spring that have a combined record of 32-20.
