RENO, Nev. - Amahée Charrier has been named the Mountain West Player of the Week for the first time this season, as announced by the conference on Wednesday.
Charrier swept the weekend in doubles at No. 2 and No. 3 positions and singles play at No. 1 over opponents from GCU and San Diego State.
She kicked off her perfect weekend taking her doubles match against Amalia Suciu and Peyton Duckett, 6-2 of Grand Canyon.
She then followed it up with a singles win over Bella Crossman, 6-0, 3-6, 6-2. Charrier's wins helped the Pack defeat the No. 70 Lopes, 4-2.
On Saturday, Charrier was part of the duo that clinched the doubles point against Ninon Martinache and Jayna Clemens of San Diego State, 7-6. She was the first singles point for Nevada after defeating Jo-Yee Chan in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1.
