RENO, Nev. – The Nevada men's golf team is set to open its spring season this Sunday, March 3 for the Duel in the Desert.
The Duel in the Desert is a match play event against No. 10 SMU at The Hideaway Golf Club in La Quinta, Calif. This is the Wolf Pack's first set of competition since it concluded the fall season at the Saint Mary's Invitational on Nov. 7. Nevada had a very successful fall campaign, winning back-to-back team events at the Nick Watney Invitational and the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational. Head coach Jacob Wilner will send six of his players to the Dual in the Desert, including junior Stephen Osborne who will square off against his brother, Ollie.
