RENO, Nev. – For the fourth time in three seasons, the Nevada softball team will travel to Stockton, California. The four games the Wolf Pack is scheduled to play at the Libby Matson Tournament will start on Feb. 22 with Oregon State who is currently receiving votes in the USA Today poll. Nevada will also match up with Pacific and Cal Baptist, twice.

After falling in the first two contests of the weekend at the Houston Classic, the Pack bounced back and swept day two with wins over Nicholls and Louisiana Monroe. The day was highlighted by three solo home runs with two coming against ULM;
Jyllian Ahart and
Sadaria McAlister tallied their firsts of the season in the contest.
Rachel Rodriguez snatched hers against Nicholls State later that day.
Freshman
Kendall Fritz had quite the weekend as well racking up 20 strikeouts, including 12 against Houston while also pitching a one-hit shutout against Nicholls State. She is currently leading the Mountain West with 34 strikeouts and has only pitched 21 complete innings in five appearances.
Looking at the field for the weekend, the Pack has met three of the four teams at least once in school history. Oregon State holds the series, 6-3 with the last meeting happening in 2015 at a neutral site. Nevada and Pacific are currently tied, 6-6 with the latest meeting being in Stockton, Calif. where Nevada took the win, 6-0. This will be the first meeting between the Pack and Cal-Baptist.
