RENO, Nev. – The Nevada baseball team will be hosting a "Wolf vs. Pack World Series" intersquad scrimmage this weekend to cap off the fall season. The scrimmages will take place this Friday through Sunday, Nov. 15-17, and are open to the public.
The series will kick off Friday at 5:30 p.m., continue Saturday at 3 p.m. and conclude Sunday at 12 p.m.
The Grey team will be coached by current assistant
Abe Alvarez, who will be assisted by Wolf Pack alumni Garret D'Antoni, Jay Kenny and
Bryce Greager. On the Navy team, volunteer assistant
Kyle Hunt will coach the squad and will be assisted by Darrell Rasner, Donny Price and Brent Cordell.
The Pack played two fall scrimmages in October, as it traveled to the University of San Francisco and hosted Cal. The Pack won both its nine and seven-inning games at USF, and its first nine innings against the Bears.
