This Week In Wolf Pack Athletics

RENO, Nev. - The Mountain West spring championship season begins this week, with Women's Golf, Men's Tennis and Women's Tennis all in pursuit of a conference title, while Baseball and Softball each host Mountain West action.

The Credit Union 1 Mountain West Women's Golf Championships tee off Tuesday morning from Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. The three-day event runs Tuesday-Thursday with the Wolf Pack teeing off late morning Tuesday.

Men's and Women's Tennis will each open action at the Credit Union 1 Mountain West Tennis Championships Wednesday in Las Vegas. The Wolf Pack women, as the seventh seed in their draw, will open at 9 a.m. against No. 10 Colorado State, while the men, seeded eighth, will face No. 1 Utah State at 1 p.m.

Nevada Softball closes its regular-season home slate with Senior Weekend, hosting Fresno State Friday through Sunday. The Pack enters the weekend tied for second in the conference standings, looking for a top-two seed and bye into the double-elimination portion of the conference tournament set for May 6-9 at Christina M. Hixson Softball Park.

Nevada Baseball, holding a half-game lead in the Mountain West standings after a series victory at New Mexico over the weekend, begins a five-game home stand Tuesday against Saint Mary's (4:05 p.m.) before hosting UNLV Friday through Sunday in Silver State Series action.

Track & Field is scheduled to send competitors to the LSU Alumni Gold meet this weekend in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Nevada Women's Tennis begins play at the 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Women's Tennis Championship Wednesday, taking on No. 10 seed Colorado State at 9 a.m.

A Wolf Pack victory would put it into Thursday's quarterfinals against No. 2 Boise State at 10 a.m.

Nevada Baseball (21-15, 10-5 MW) opens a five-game home stand Tuesday at 4:05 p.m. against Saint Mary's. The Wolf Pack then gets back into Mountain West play over the weekend, hosting UNLV in a Silver State Series showdown Friday through Sunday.

The Pack is coming off a key road series win at New Mexico, taking two of three to move a half-game ahead of the Lobos for first place in the Mountain West standings with nine conference games remaining.

Nevada Softball faces Northern Colorado in a midweek matchup at Gloria Rodriguez Field, after taking the series over Colorado State. With the win over CSU, Nevada clinched its spot in the Credit Union 1 Mountain West Softball Championship. The Pack will then host Fresno State for a three-game series. The series will be highlight by Alumni Day on Saturday, April 25 and Senior Day on Sunday, April 26.

Nevada Track and Field heads to Baton Rouge, Louisiana for the LSU Alumni Gold this weekend, a highly competitive meet where last year, Annalies Kalma broke the 400m school record for the first time. Kalma broke that record again at last week's Mt. SAC Relays, and is looking to sneak into NCAA qualifying places.

Nevada Women's Golf competes in the 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Women's Golf Championships this week at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. The Pack will look to find some of their form from last years championships where the team placed third and Anna Shultse placed second individually. The Pack will be in the afternoon wave for round one.
