DENVER – University of Nevada senior Julien Evrard won twice on Friday to advance to the consolation semifinals of the ITA Mountain Regional at the Denver Tennis Park.  The event continues through Sunday.
 
Evrard won both of his matches in straight sets starting with a 6-1, 6-4 victory of Utah's Paul McCallie.  In the quarterfinals he scored a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Javier Ruiz of Utah State.  In the semifinals on Saturday he will play either Ignacio Rivero Crespo from Denver or Facundo Bermejo from New Mexico.
 
In doubles play Evrard and Daniel Dudockin lost 8-7 to the Idaho team of Esteban Santibanez and Perez Bascon in the round of 32.
