RENO, Nev. - The Nevada swimming and diving team will be in competition on Friday, Sept. 21 as it heads to San Diego to take part in a double dual meet with San Diego State and Washington State. The meet is set to begin at 2:30 p.m. PT at the Aztec Aquaplex.
The Pack got off to a hot start putting up 53 points in the home opener against Pac-12 opponent Oregon State.
The Nevada A relay team picked up a win in every event of the meet, notching a complete sweep and taking the overall win. It got started with a dominating time in the 3x50 fly where sophomore
Imogen Watson, junior
Andressa Cholodovskis and senior
Rebecca Murray recorded a time of 1:16.60.
Within the traditional events the Pack won the 400-yard medley relay in 3:51.64, the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:35.95, and the 400-yard freestyle relay in 3:29.35. Seniors Murray,
Jamie Reynolds and
Caitlyn Richardson were on both the 200-yard and 400-yard medley teams.
The Wolf Pack added six to its roster over the summer, four of which are swimmers and two divers. With the team returning five All-Conference team members head coach
Brendon Bray is anticipating the freshman will make an immediate impact.
Each of the freshman saw victory against Oregon State.

Lindsey Soule on one.
Following the meet at San Diego State, the Pack returns to Lombardi to host the annual pentathlon on Sept. 29 at 9 a.m. PT. Then the first weekend in October marks the annual alumni meet, taking place on Oct. 6 at 9 a.m. PT, also in Lombardi.
