RENO, NV. - The Nevada swimming and diving team opens the 2018-19 season on Friday, Sept. 14 when the Wolf Pack plays host to Oregon State. The competition will be held at the Lombardi Pool with the first event to begin at 4 p.m. PT.
This meet will be a swim only, relay style with nine events on the schedule. The events are 3x50 fly, 3x50 backstroke, 3x50 breaststroke, 3x50 freestyle, 500 freestyle (50-100-15-200), 400 medley, 200 medley, 400 IM relay, and a 400 freestyle relay. The events will be scored on a 5-3-1 scale based upon placings.
This meet marks the first event for both the Pack and Oregon State and one of the two official meets held at Lombardi. It also will be streamed live on NevadaWolfPack.tv and fans can follow along on Twitter with @NevadaSwim for results and highlights.
