2019-20 (So.): Did not compete.
2018-19 (Fr.): An addition to a talented diving group … Debuted at the Boise State dual meet where she finished fifth in each of the 1-meter and 3-meter events … Scored in two of three events at the Mountain West Championships … Finished 17th in the 1-meter, 6th in the 3-meter and took bronze in platform to qualify for the NCAA Zone E Championships … Came in 28th in the 3-meter event while finishing 44th in the 1-meter … Had season highs of 265.88 in the 1-meter, 323.03 in the 3-meter and 245.45 in the platform … Claimed Mountain West All-Conference honors… Letter winner.
PRIOR TO NEVADA
Currently holds the Yucaipa High School diving record … Placed sixth at the CIF Southern Section Division II in 2016 and fifth in 2017 before transferring to the United State Performance Academy … Was named to the CBL and CIF First-Team in each of the years 2014-17 … Graduated from the USPA in 2018 … Was a member of the Speech and Debate team, a scholar-athlete, member of the National Honor Society and letter winner.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Reynard and Karen Rice … Chose Nevada because, “Jinali will push me to my full potential. Along with the amazing coach, Nevada is a welcoming environment that I know will prepare me for life outside of the pool” … Was also recruited by Arizona, Ohio and Old Dominion … Will be studying Nutrition with plans to become a PA.
