MW Tournament: Nevada won the 2018 Mountain West regular season title and will seek to win its first MW Tournament title this week in San Diego ... The Wolf Pack (29-22, 20-9 MW) open, play against intrastate rival UNLV (33-22, 14-16 MW) at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at Tony Gwynn Stadium ... The winner of the double elimination tournament receives the Mountain West's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament ... Nevada is 8-10 at the MW Tournament and head coach

Team Notes: Nevada won the 2018 MW regular season championship, the Pack's second in four years with the first coming 2015 ... The Pack has competed in the MW for six seasons and won two regular season titles but has yet to capture a MW Tournament title ... Nevada won eight-of-10 MW series this season with the losses coming at Air Force dropping a double header in a weather shortened series and falling twice in three games at UNLV ... Nevada finished MW play with a 20-9 record, winning 20 games for the third time in six years in the conference ...
