Nevada set for three matches this week

Three road matches at UC Riverside, LMU and CSU Northridge

RENO, Nev. – After a week off, the Nevada women's tennis team (1-3) will be back in action this week with three road matches in southern California. The Wolf Pack will play at University of California on Thursday at 1:30 p.m., Riverside, at Loyola Marymount University on Friday at 10 a.m. and at California State University, Northridge on Saturday at 11 a.m.

The Pack is coming off some tough matches with two of its three losses being by only one point. The last time it played, it faced the University of Arizona and the University of Houston on the road, both of which are undefeated on the season.

Senior Claudia Herrero has led the charge this spring, going 4-0 in singles matches with all of her victories coming on court No. 1. In doubles play, Herrero and senior Blaga Delic are ranked as the No. 52 doubles tandem by the NCAA with a 3-0 record on court No. 1 this spring.

UC Riverside currently sits with a 1-7 record this spring, including 1-3 on its home court. LMU holds a perfect record at home and is 2-2 on the season, led by freshman Veronica Miroshnichenko who is 3-0 on court No. 1 in dual play.

CSUN holds a 1-3 record just like the Pack, but has only won four singles matches this spring. Nevada sits at 11-13 in singles and 4-7 in doubles in dual play.

LMU will have live stats and a livestream of the match available.
