AUBURN, Calif. – Kicking off its spring season, the Nevada men's golf team teed it up on Monday in a dual match against fellow Mountain West member San José State at The Ridge in Auburn, Calif.
The match play event favored the Spartans as SJSU defeated the Wolf Pack, 5-1. Each team played six players in the event. A Nevada player faced off against a San José State player and so on down the list. The event was originally scheduled for 36 holes but was cut down to just an 18 hole match due to darkness. This was Nevada's only match play event of the season.
