Nevada faces Atlantic 10 preseason favorite Rhode Island Monday
• Nevada faces a preseason conference favorite for the second consecutive game to begin the season in Rhode Island.  URI is picked to win the Atlantic 10 after posting a 25-10 record last season.  Idaho the Pack's first opponent was picked to win the Big Sky.  
• Nevada and Rhode Island are both receiving votes in the preseason polls.  In the AP top 25 the Rams received 49 points and the Pack seven.  In the USA Today Coaches poll URI had 31 points and the Pack one.
• Of the Pack's 88 points in the win over Idaho, 55 (62.5 %) were scored by five transfer players who suited up for the first time in a Nevada uniform.
• The Martin twins who transferred from N.C. State, Caleb (26) and Cody (15) combined to score 41 points and were the top two scorers for Nevada.  Both posted career highs.
• All nine player that saw action in the season opener scored and four netted double figures. 
• Nevada's primary two ball handlers Lindsey Drew (6) and Cody Martin (7) combined for 13 of Nevada's 21 assists and had just one turnover coming from Drew.
