Wolf Pack to celebrate senior day this Sunday vs Utah State

Will battle Boise State on the road this Friday

RENO, Nev. – The Nevada women's soccer team (1-15-0, 0-8-0 MW) will continue conference play this weekend when it plays at Boise State (9-5-3, 4-2-2 MW) this Friday and Utah State (7-6-3, 2-4-2 MW) on Sunday. Sunday's match will be the final home match in Mackay Stadium this season, and will host senior day celebrations that will honor Aubrie Ciesynski, Katie Prosser, Nikki Mitsuyasu and Morgan Beye.

"We encourage our fans to come out to cheer for the Wolf Pack in our last home game this weekend," said head coach Erin Otagaki. "We look forward to playing some quality soccer and honoring our seniors in their last match in Mackay."

Just prior to kickoff on Sunday, each senior will be recognized individually for their accomplishments during their time at Nevada.

This past weekend, freshman goalie Jamie Flynn made her first career start against top-seeded Mountain West foe San Jose State on the road. Flynn recorded nine saves, but the Pack fell 2-0. The freshman started again in goal on Sunday at Fresno State, where she recorded a career-high 11 saves and junior Mackenzie Robinson recorded her second goal of the season, the second most on the team.

Freshman Rachel Gensch still leads the Pack with a team-high nine points that came from her team leading three goals this season. In conference play, she is tied with fellow freshman Ryle West, junior Bryanna Wiehe and Robinson with one goal in MW play each.

Nevada will face an offensive juggernaut this weekend at Boise State, as the Broncos have recorded 25 goals on 227 shots this season. The Pack's final home match of the season against the Aggies will be a tough battle, as each team averages over eight shots per match.

Friday's match at Boise State will be live streamed on the MW Network. Sunday's home match will not be streamed, so get your tickets by calling (775) 348-PACK or by visiting NevadaWolfPack.com.
