Nevada's countdown to kickoff series will feature seven things you need to know for the upcoming football season, from information on the team and program to information about tickets and game day operations.

RENO, Nev. - It's gameday eve as the Nevada football team is now just one day away from kicking off the season on Thursday night against UC Davis. Listed below is information for University of Nevada students who plan on attending the game at Mackay Stadium.

STUDENT INFORMATION

Running of the Wolves: Nevada's annual Running of the Wolves is scheduled for approximately 6:54 p.m. PT on Thursday. The tradition allows first-year students to run out from the tunnel and on to the field at Mackay prior to kickoff. The students will be joined by first-year head coaches Eric Musselman (basketball), T.J. Bruce (baseball), Neil Harper (swimming and diving) and Sylvain Malroux (men's tennis).



Student Ticket Reminder: Student tickets are still available for the Wolf Pack's season opener against UC Davis. Student tickets are free for all Wolf Pack sports. Instructions on how to reserve tickets are available at the video below.



Blue Crew: The Blue Crew is the official student spirit club of Wolf Pack athletics. Blue Crew is part of the Department of Traditions in ASUN (Associated Students of the University of Nevada). The mission of the Blue Crew is to create an exciting atmosphere at hour home events and facilitate student involvement with Wolf Pack athletics. Joining the Blue Crew includes a number of benefits, such as an exclusive entrance at football, access to specific giveaways, access to food in the student tailgate zone and reserved seating in Mackay Stadium's student section.
