Nevada’s countdown to kickoff series will feature seven things you need to know for the upcoming football season, from information on the team and program to information about tickets and game day operations.

RENO, Nev. – The Nevada football team completed its first game week practice Saturday morning at Wolf Pack Park, and is now just five days away from its season opener. The Wolf Pack athletics department released its marketing and promotions schedule for the season ahead of Thursday’s clash between Nevada and UC Davis at 7 p.m. PT at Mackay Stadium.

The marketing schedule includes a C-130 flyover and the annual Running of the Wolves for the season opener and a pair of color games. Nevada’s contest against Arizona on Sept. 12 will be a “White-Out” game, while the Governor’s Series battle against rivals UNLV on Oct. 3 will be a “Wear Blue” game.

Nevada plays six games at Mackay Stadium in 2015, including five day games.
