RENO, Nev. – After an impressive performance against UTEP, Cristian Solano has been selected as the Wolf Pack student-athlete of the week. He tossed two touchdown passes and was an integral part of Nevada’s 37-21 win at UTEP to bring the Pack to 3-1 on the season.

The senior quarterback got his first start of the season and the second start of his career last weekend. He finished the game as the first 100-yard rusher of the season for Nevada which he achieved on 10 carries as well as having 182 passing yards. Solano connected on 13-of-19 of his passes throughout the game.

Nevada will begin conference play against Hawai’i in Mackay this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available for the game by CLICKING HERE.
