Reno, Nev. – Junior first baseman Dillan Shrum has been named the Wolf Pack Student-Athlete of the week after his performances against Saint Mary’s and at UNLV. The El Cajon, Calif. native blasted three home runs against the Rebels and is currently tied for the team-high with five.
In four games this past week, Shrum batted .500 with eight hits, registering one in every game and multiple hits in three-of-four. At UNLV, he totaled five hits, seven RBI and three home runs. He hit one homer in every game of the series.
Against Saint Mary’s, Shrum tallied a season-high three hits while also scoring two runs. On Sunday, he went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in Nevada’s comeback extra-inning victory over UNLV.
