Nevada cross country Junior Hiley Dobbs has been named the Wolf Pack Student-Athlete of the Week after her performance in the NCAA Mountain Regionals on Friday.
 
“Hiley had the best race of her career, with a fabulous effort,” said head coach Kirk Elais. “She is one of those individuals who just knows how to create an excellent race almost every time she’s in a pair of spikes.”
Dobbs recorded a time of 20:30, just one second off of her personal best time of 20:29. Dobbs was also named to the all-regional team with a 21st place finish, just the second member of the Pack to earn the honor.
 
This is Dobbs’ first time being named Wolf Pack Student-Athlete of the Week, and the second time this year for a member of the cross country team.
