Following a personal record performance at the Mountain West Challenge, senior pole vaulter Natasha Black has been named the Nevada Wolf Pack’s Bradley, Drendel & Jeanney Student-Athlete of the Week.

Black, a graduate transfer from Hawai'i, vaulted 12 feet and 8.25 inches (3.87m) to debut at sixth on the Wolf Pack all-time list. Her clearance was good enough to place first out of all collegiate vaulters. After not being able to record a height at the Pack's season opener in Hawai'i, the performance was a stellar bounce back for Black.
