BOULDER, Colo. - Nevada Men's Golf concluded play at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational Wednesday, finishing the tournament in eighth at ten over-par (850).

Riki Matsumoto and Monte Chumchaivate posted the best scores of the day for the Pack, shooting a pair of two over-par 72's. Matsumoto's round included a birdie on the fifth hole, offset by three bogies, he finished the tournament in a tie for 39th at three over-par. Chumchaivate started off his final round strong, birdieing two out of his first three holes, but struggled to keep bogies off the scorecard throughout the rest of the round. He finished the tournament in a tie for 50th at five over-par.

Jonathan Kim posted the next best round of the day for the Pack, shooting a final round four over-par 74. Kim's round sat at even-par through 11 holes, making three early birdies, but struggled to keep his card clean on the way in. He finished in a tie for 39th at three over-par.

Aaron Leach posted the final counting round for the Wolf Pack, posting a five over-par final round 75. Leach managed three birdies on the day, but couldn't keep bogies off the card on the way to his 75. Leach did rank second in the field for birdies made (14), finishing the tournament in a tie for 50th at five over-par.

Rounding out the Wolf Pack starting five was Lapassapon Heras-Gomez, playing his first tournament for Nevada. Heras-Gomez posted a final round seven over-par 77, making one birdie on the day. He finished in a tie for 71st at ten over-par. 

The Pack will return to action October 12-14 at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational.
