RENO, Nev. - Nevada Track and Field athlete, Lilly Urban, was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Track and Field Academic All-America Third Team, announced Wednesday.

Academic All-American is a title reserved for student-athletes who perform at an elite level in their sport and in the classroom. 

As a junior, Urban earned a 3.99 GPA on her way to earning a degree in Psychology this spring. Urban qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the javelin competition, after winning her second Mountain West Championship in a row.

This marks the 19th Nevada student-athlete to be named a CSC Academic All-American and the 22nd CSC Academic All-America honor in Nevada history. Urban will be the first Academic All-American in Nevada Track and Field history.
