Azusa, Calif. - Nevada Track and Field opened competition at the Bryan Clay Multis, Thursday, with three multi athletes competing for the Pack, two in Group D and one in Group C. 

In the overall standings, Alma Kathan leads the way in Group C, leading the competition with a total of 3,206 points. In Group D, Anne Schuch sits in second place with 3,072 points, while Lilly Urban sits in eighth with 2,774 points.

The day began with the 100m hurdles, where Kathan placed second in Group C while setting a personal record time of 14.46. Schuch followed with a third-place finish in Group D, also recording a personal best at 14.90. Urban added a ninth-place finish in Group D with a time of 15.35.

In the high jump, Nevada athletes continued to post strong results. Kathan won the Group C competition after clearing a personal-best height of 1.71 meters. Schuch mirrored the performance in Group D, claiming first place with a personal-record clearance of 1.62m. Urban finished eighth in the group with a jump of 1.53m.

The shot put featured another personal best for Schuch, who placed second in Group D with a throw of 12.36 meters. Kathan finished eighth in Group C with a mark of 9.75m, while Urban placed ninth in Group D at 10.82m.

The day concluded with the 200m dash, where Kathan earned a Group C victory while setting a personal record time of 24.73. In Group D, Schuch finished 10th with a personal-best time of 26.28, and Urban followed in 13th, also recording a personal record at 26.67.

Kathan sits in prime position to take out Group C tomorrow with three events still to go. Schuch also is right behind the leader in Group D, setting up an exciting final day at the Bryan Clay Multis.
