Azusa, Calif. - Nevada Track and Field concluded competition at the Bryan Clay Multis, Friday, taking two wins in two groups, highlighted by multiple personal bests and entries to the all-time lists.Â
In the overall standings, Alma Kathan captured first place in Group C with a total score of 5,428 points, which ranks fifth all-time in Nevada history. Anne Schuch earned the Group D title with 5,186 points, now placing ninth on the all-time list, while Lilly Urban finished fourth overall in Group D with 5,051 points.
The long jump opened the final day with standout performances across both groups. Kathan placed third in Group C with a personal-best jump of 6.14 meters, a mark that ranks third all-time at Nevada. In Group D, Schuch finished third after recording a personal-best jump of 5.58m, while Urban followed closely in sixth with a personal-best mark of 5.51m.
The javelin produced another strong showing for the Wolf Pack. Kathan placed second in Group C with a throw of 33.60 meters. In Group D, Urban claimed first place with a winning throw of 53.46m, while Schuch added a fourth-place finish at 39.67m.
Competition concluded with the 800m, where all three Nevada athletes closed out the heptathlon with personal-best performances. Kathan placed sixth in Group C with a time of 2:22.96. In Group D, Schuch finished ninth in 2:27.06, followed by Urban in 14th with a time of 2:33.75.
