Pack dominates Air Force to close regular season

RENO, Nev. - Nevada (20-11, 12-8 MW) closed the regular season with a 74-59 victory over Air Force (3-28, 0-20 MW) Saturday afternoon at Lawlor Events Center.

Four Wolf Pack players scored in double figures, led by Corey Camper Jr. with 18 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Elijah Price added 13 points and five rebounds, while Tayshawn Comer finished with 11 points and three assists. Vaughn Weems chipped in 10 points and three rebounds.

As a team, Nevada shot 48 percent from the field, 22 percent from three, and 80 percent from the free-throw line. The Pack also won the bench battle, 27-24, and held advantages in second-chance points (12-6) and fast-break points (13-6).

Nevada held Air Force to 49 percent shooting from the field, 17 percent from three, and 41 percent from the free-throw line. Camper Jr. and Joel Armotrading led the defense with two blocks each, while five Wolf Pack players recorded a steal.

First Half:
Nevada started off strong with a 12-0 run with a Kaleb Lowery dunk to force Air Force to call a timeout.
The Falcons responded, cutting the deficit to 19-13 on a driving layup by Kam Sanders.
The Pack continued to have control of the game, closing the half up 32-25.

Second Half:
Nevada continued to set the pace with a 16-point lead after a free throw made by Corey Camper Jr.
Amire Robinson sank a three-pointer to put the Pack up with a 51-34 score.
The Pack maintained control with a Camper Jr. jumper, and Nevada put up a 20-point lead at the 8-minute mark.
Nevada continued to dominate the game, ultimately coming out with a 74-59 win over Air Force.

Up Next:
Nevada will head to Las Vegas, Nev., for the 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Basketball Championship, taking place from March 11 to 14. The Pack will face the Falcons on Wednesday, March 11, at 2:30 pm.
