BOISE, Idaho - Nevada (16-7; 8-4 MW) falls, 91-87, in overtime against Boise State (14-9; 6-6 MW) at the ExtraMile Arena on Tuesday evening.
Corey Camper Jr. recorded another career-high game of 35 points, leading the team's offense.
Tayshawn Comer tied his season high of 24 points to follow Camper Jr.
Elijah Price (17 points and 9 rebounds) was also in the double digits to help the Nevada offense.
As a team, the Pack shot 49 percent from the field, 42 percent from three, and 68 percent from the free-throw line.
Nevada won the battle in the paint, 38–36, and points off turnovers, 15–11, after forcing Boise State into 11 turnovers, but was outpaced on the glass, 35–25, and in bench points, 23–3.
First Half:
Nevada struggled at the start of the game, with Boise State building a 20-point lead in the first half.
The Pack cut the deficit, but the Broncos closed the half strong with a 28-39 score.
Second Half:
A 12-point run brought Nevada within three to shift the momentum of the game.
Vaughn Weems made a key three-point shot to put the game at a score of 59-57.
Tayshawn Comer stepped back and tied the game at the eight-minute mark.
With a score of 77-79 and 0:05 left on the clock, Boise State missed two free throws.
Comer came on the fast break, tied the game 79-79 with a jumper in the paint to take the contest to overtime.
Overtime:
The Broncos started strong, giving them a four-point lead.
The Pack continued to fight, after tying the game 85-85 with an
Elijah Price free throw.
Boise State went on a 4-point run to close the game with a 91-87 win.
