FRESNO, Calif. - Nevada kept its momentum rolling Saturday afternoon, edging Fresno State 66-65 at Save Mart Center behind a strong second-half surge and a dominant bench performance.

Tyler Rolison led the way as Nevada's reserves outscored Fresno State 27-1. Rolison finished with 16 points and two assists, scoring 14 of those points after halftime.
Elijah Price followed with a near double-double, posting 15 points and nine rebounds, while
Vaughn Weems added 13 points and six boards.
The Pack defense forced Fresno State into 15 turnovers, and the team came out led by Price with four steals and four blocks to the board. The Long Beach, Calif. native was followed by Rolison, with two steals, and Weems with two blocks.
First Half:
Nevada had a slow start with only 21 points scored in the opening half.
Elijah Price made an impact on the floor, leading the team with six points and six rebounds.
The Pack matched the Bulldogs point-by-point all the way through the 1:30 mark.
Fresno State made a 5-0 run to end the half ahead of Nevada, 26-21.
Second Half:
Fresno State had the lead in the second half, but the Pack did not let the Bulldogs run away with it.
Nevada tied the game, 49-49, with a Price made free throw in the two-minute mark.
Tyler Rolison scored 14 in the second half, including the driving layup that gave the Pack a 66-65 lead with 10 seconds left on the clock.

The Pack returns to Lawlor Events Center for two conference play games. Nevada will first face San Diego State on Tuesday, Jan 6, at 8 pm, followed by a game against Wyoming on Saturday, Jan 10, at 7 pm.
