ASPEN, Colo. -Â Nevada Skiing's final day in Colorado brought multiple top-20 finishes on Giant Slalom at Aspen Highlands, highlighted by another top-five finish from
Erica Lynch and, on the men's side,
David Morken finishing 11th and just missing out on a top-10 posting.
Lynch put herself in excellent position for a great finish with a first run of 1:00.25 to sit fourth. Her second run came in at 1:02.58, good enough to tie for fifth with a combined time of 2:02.83.
Morken paced four Wolf Pack men with top-20 finishes. Morken sat 12th after a first run of 1:00.25 then gained a spot with a time of 1:00.10 on his second run down the course.
Tommaso Speri took 17th with a combined time of 2:01.15, while additional top-20s were turned in by
Peyton Wells (19th, 2:01.25) and
Jules Baur (20th, 2:01.29).
On the women's side,
Sophia Falter took 19th with a combined time of 2:04.46 to round out Nevada's top-20 finishes on the day.
Nevada returns home where it will host the four-day Nevada Invitational from January 31-February 3 at Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe.
