Erica Lynch posted her second top-10 finish in as many days Wednesday, taking ninth in the Giant Slalom race of the Denver Invitational at Aspen Highlands.
Following her fifth-place effort on Slalom Tuesday in Loveland, Lynch opened her first Giant Slalom race of the 2026 collegiate season in 13th after a first run of 1:02.83. As with Tuesday, she would cut time in the pivotal second run, shaving 2.01 seconds to come in at 1:00.82, tied for the fourth-fastest second run in the field, for a combined time of 2:03.65.
The Wolf Pack men had three finishes in the top 16 of its Giant Slalom field, led by
David Morken in 13th place with a combined time of 2:02.75. Morken crossed in a minute flat in his first run and sat 11th before eventually finishing 13th.
Tommaso Spero was a spot back, tied for 14th with a combined time of 2:02.81, while
Peyton Wells took 16th with a time of 2:02.93.
Nevada concludes its first week of the campaign Thursday, competing in the Giant Slalom as part of the Colorado Spencer James Nelson Memorial Invitational at Aspen Highlands.
