LOVELAND, Colo. -Â Junior
Erica Lynch finished fifth on Slalom at the Colorado Spencer James Nelson Memorial Invitational at Loveland Ski Area Tuesday, highlighting Nevada's second day of competition to open the 2026 campaign.
For the second-straight day, Lynch posted the highest Wolf Pack finish, women's or men's. And, for the second day in a row, she topped the field in the second run, blazing to a 44.58 to rise 12 places from her first run. Overall, her combined time of 1:31.61 held a top-five finish by two-hundredths of a second.
Charlotte Clément finished 21st in 1:33.47 to come in next for the Wolf Pack women.
Zali Sutton (1:33.81),
Sophia Falter (1:34.20), and
Jessica Blackburn (1:34.29) were clustered behind Clément in 23rd, 25th, and 26th places, repsectively.
On the men's side,
Tommaso Speri had the top finish at 19th place with a combined time of 1:27.38.
Pietro Bisello was also inside the top 25, taking 21st with a time of 1:27.48.
Seven of the eight Wolf Pack men in competition completed both runs, with
Peyton Wells (1:27.83),
Jules Baur (1:29.00),
Ryan Herhusky (1:29.31),
Isaac Mozen (1:30.21) and
David Morken (1:30.34) among that group.
Two-straight days of Giant Slalom begin Wednesday as the Wolf Pack moves to Aspen Highlands.
