RENO, Nev - The Nevada Women's Golf program and Head CoachÂ
Kathleen Takaishi have unveiled their full tournament schedule for the 2025-26 season. Â
"I am very excited for the upcoming season," said Takaishi. "Both our fall and spring schedules include high level events, where we'll match up against some of the best teams in the country, giving our group the best preparation possible to contend at the conference championships and earn a spot at NCAA Regionals."
The Nevada Women's Golf team will be playing ten events this season, starting in Greeneville, South Carolina and ending with the Mountain West Championship in Rancho Mirage, California.Â
The team will kick off the season at the Lady Paladin (Sept.19-21), hosted by Furman in South Carolina. The Pack will be returning to the event for the first time in two years, having last played the event in 2023, where the team placed sixth and
Anna Shultse led the way for the Pack with a third place finish at seven under-par.Â
The following week the Pack will head to Corvallis, Oregon to play the Molly Collegiate Invitational (Sept. 29-30)Â hosted by Oregon State at Trysting Tree Golf Club, which has been host to NCAA Regional Championships along with men's and women's Pac-12 championships.Â
The Pack will then head to Las Cruces for New Mexico State's Iconic Classic (Oct. 13-15), at New Mexico State University Golf Course. The Pack will return to the event after a two year hiatus.Â
To conclude the fall season, the team will return to Hawaii for the third year in a row, to play the Rainbow Wahine Invitational (Oct. 20-22) hosted by Hawaii at the Hokuala Golf Club Ocean Course.Â
To kick off the spring, the Pack will head to the site of a past victory, the Mountain Classic Match Play (Feb. 9-11) co-hosted by Boise State and Wyoming. The Pack won the event in their historic 2022-23 season where they won three times, matching the single season team win record.Â
They will then travel over the hill to play in UC Davis' Causeway Invitational (Feb 23-24), at Del Paso CC which has played host to many USGA events. The Pack's best finisher last year at the event was
Nikki Chindavong, who placed 15th at +2.Â
The team will then head down south for the Lady Luck Invitational (Mar 2-3) hosted by UNLV at Las Vegas CC. The Pack will return to UNLV's event for the first time in two years.Â
The Pack will go from Vegas to San Francisco to play USF's Juli Inkster Invitational at major venue Harding Park GC. The Pack played solidly in last years USF Invitational also at a major venue, Olympic Club, with the team placing 5th and
Anna Shultse placing 4th individually.
For the penultimate event of the spring season, the Pack will return to the the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic (Apr 7-8) for the third year in a row.
Gabby Kano was the top performer for the Pack last year notching a top-10 with a score of even-par.
The 2026 Mountain West Championships (Apr 21-23) will be hosted at Dinah Shore GC in Rancho Mirage for the 14th year in a row. The Pack will look to build on their experience from a 3rd place finish last season, along with a highlight 2nd place finish from
