RENO, Nev. — Nevada Women's Golf standout Gabby Kano has been named to the All-Mountain West Second Team, capping off a strong 2024–25 season where she consistently led the Wolf Pack.

Kano finished the year with an adjusted scoring average of 72.9 over 29 rounds, helping her achieve a national ranking of No. 291. She recorded a 470-214-30 head-to-head record on the season and delivered key performances across the spring schedule.

One of her most impressive outings came at the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational, where she finished tied for 10th out of 78 players and posted an even-par score for the tournament. Her season-best round came in that event, earning 32.99 average weighted points—her highest of the year.

Kano was also instrumental in the Pack's top-three team finish at the 2025 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Championship, finishing 8th out of 53 players and helping Nevada stay competitive throughout the spring.

With consistent performances in high-level events like the Silicon Valley Showcase and the Alice and John Wallace Women's Golf Classic, Kano proved to be one of the most dependable and talented golfers in the Mountain West. Her selection to the All-MW Second Team recognizes a season of growth, leadership, and competitive fire that sets the tone for Nevada Women's Golf moving forward.
